The Fort Screven Rec Hall is a great place to spend your vacation. The Fort Screven Rec Hall, located near Battery Brumby at historic Fort Screven on Tybee Island, was once the leisure facility for the Army installation at Fort Screven before it was disbanded in 1946. Following then, the property was used as a private residence and was thoroughly refurbished on the inside and exterior. This property is lively and friendly, with a brand new 12′ x 24′ 4 ft deep pool with a sundeck (pictures coming soon) and an outdoor patio with a pergola for families and friends to gather and enjoy one another’s company.
Enter into the fully equipped kitchen that includes a double oven and a gas range and a double french door refrigerator and freezer. The cool concrete countertops and industrial pipe shelving accentuate the modern feeling of the home. Gather the gang around the large center island that is sure to be the main hub for all the action. The open living and dining areas feature exposed beam ceilings that harken the days of the Rec Hall. You will enjoy a little R and R here with a large dining table and living area with a 70 inch TV, and a shuffleboard table for hours of fun. This home is also set up to be a perfect spot for remote working.

The outdoor spaces come to life with a custom-designed 12′ x 24′ 4 ft deep swimming pool with a great outdoor patio and a full privacy fence on one side of the home. The other side of the home has a beautiful pergola with an outdoor grilling area for a BBQ lovers’ vacation dream.
This home is conveniently located near the Historic Tybee Lighthouse, Tybee Museum, restaurant dining at The North Beach Grill, and the North Beach public beach access is about a 5-minute walk from the house.
Parking for up to 6 vehicles. A convenient Electric Vehicle (EV) Car charger is available onsite. Pool heat can be added for an additional fee. (Not available in January and February). This home has High-Speed Internet/WIFI available for guest use.
